There's a silver 458 outside my door...Wait, SILVER?!?
The first Ferrari I've ever seen that's not red, yellow, black or white.

Hmmm, Doesn't look half bad in silver.

Which is weird, because every car on the road is silver, and I don't like the color because of it, but gosh does it look good here. And that flat-plane V8 is much sexy sounds.

My cousin's neighbor has a beige Ferrari Testarossa and a red Toyota Camry. No, I didn't flip those around, those are their actual colors. Truth be told, they both looked shockingly good, even the Camry!

I saw a silver 458 in Honolulu a couple weeks ago. It was quite a surprise (a few days later I also saw a silver F430).

Of the multiple Ferraris I've seen in person, only one was not bright red. It was a more subdued dark red. Almost a maroon color. I've seen more color variances in the Lambos I've seen, including orange, lime green, and a blue/purple color shift kinda deal.

I've seen other non-typical colors on an F430, but never silver..

F12 in matte silver = nice.
458 in normal people silver = eh.

The color you are describing sounds like Rosso Mugello.

The color is called Argento Nurburgring and it is stunning in person.

That's the exact color. The one I saw was a 430, though.

Interesting. It's quite a rare color, especially for the 430s. The most common reds are Rosso Corsa and Rosso Scuderia.

Yeah, it does seem to be rather rare, and I thought that was cool. I've only seen a small handful of Ferraris in my day, but that one always stood out, along with the 328 that used to be for sale around here.

Interesting colors are always my favorite, especially when they look so good.
What color was the 328?

It was the Rosso Corsa (I think that's right). It was just an awesome shape, with tan leather interior, and a gated shifter.

That would make since, as it is the most common color and what people think of when they envision a Ferrari.
Sounds like the perfect combination.

Yea, saw that dude around a bit this summer, also was not aware Ferraris were available in silver. Like an Italian version of a Bavarian beer law or something.

Yes, it was gorgeous. I used to have some good pictures of it. Looked brand new. I just pulled up an archive of the dealership where it was for sale, through the WayBack Machine. Rosso Corsa Red, tan leather interior, two owner, for $59k. It only had 20,000 miles. It was at an exotic dealership in a small town. It closed down but there was some super rare stuff there. Just browsing through the for sale and sold listings, I see a 2000 BMW M roadster for $20k, 91 Aston Martin Virage for $55k, 2002 Maserati Coupe Cambiocorsa for $32k, '01 BMW Z8 for $120k, 2008 Aston Martin V8 Vantage, 2007 Morgan Aero 8 America for $125k, 2008 S63 AMG, $115k, 1960 Bentley S2 RHD, and some others. I always loved going in and looking around. The most expensive one I found on there was an Austin Healey 100M that sold for $140k. I wish that place was still around.

Oh! I like that!

Wow. Sounds like a terrific dealership.

It is a truly lovely color.

It really was. Kind of a diamond in the rough. The employees would let me walk around, take pictures, and just drool over all the awesomeness in that place. Some of the stuff at the time, I didn't realize what amazing stuff I was looking at, because I wasn't as big into cars at the time, but there was some stuff that just really stood out, like the 328GTS and the BMW Z8. I think that Z8 was the most gorgeous BMW I'd ever seen. Henrik Fisker always had a talent for striking car designs.

I really wish more dealerships were like that.
This reinforces my assertion that even if you aren't a car person, there are some automobiles that appeal to everyone.
Henrik is definitely a talented individual.

I've seen silver with red striping/designs, beige, and light blue Ferraris. I don't think any 458s, but others like 360, 430, and some other classics I cant ID

Only non red Ferrari I've ever seen (ESM's 458 GT2s not counting) was a green 430. Beautiful.

Sadly, I don't have any. It's been a while since I've been to their place (in NY), and I only met the guy once or twice. He struck it rich in the '80s and bought a beige Ferrari for the hell of it.
I was somehow able to find a picture of another one (or perhaps the one?) for sale in Vegas as of 2012:
